Nothing good comes from our flesh. When we are in Christ, we have been made a NEW creation. God does not look at us as we were and we MUST stop looking at ourselves as we were.
Our sins were imputed to Christ, and He went to the cross and died as our substitute (Romans 5:6-8).
The righteousness of God is imputed to all who believe on Christ so that they may stand before Him in all the perfection of Christ.
God sees us as pure perfection; imputed perfection. We have been justified by faith and Christ sees us as He sees Jesus. (2 Corinthians 5:21; Romans 3:22; 1 Corinthians 1:30) God loves us as much as He loves His son and He accepts us as He accepts Jesus.
Stop discounting yourself in Christ. We know that none of us could ever measure up without Him. We were all good for nothings but that was our past life before Christ.
And like Jesus, you will go through trials and tribulations. What is faith without it being tested? How reliable is it if not tested? With God —in Christ, we can do ALL things and it is nothing we bartered for or purchased. God gave His son for US! We received Him as Savior and we have more grace than we could ever need.
Accept these truths and stop hindering the work of Christ through you. No more whining! We know what a wretch you WERE! You are now sons and daughters of the living GOD!
Reach souls. Rejoice in the LORD!
This week, don't try to prove anything to the devil. Pray for your enemies, eat the meat of His word, be salt and light to the world and be still, knowing He is God. Being still does not mean doing nothing. Rest in the knowledge of the truth of who you are and who God is in you. Be a witness!
Thank you for your expressions of Agapé love. Blessings to you and yours. Agapé and Shalom!
