A Tribute to Honor Someone Special
Avis Ward Ministries has provided this space for you to honor someone very special to you, whether living or deceased.
Our (Step) Mom

“I have no fear of going home. I have seen all before me; God‟s finger is on the latch of my door and I am ready for Him to enter.”
“Aren‟t you afraid, lest you should miss your inheritance?”
“No, not me,” she said. “Baby-girl, there is one crown in heaven which the angel Gabriel could not wear, it will fit no head but mine. There is one throne in heaven which my favorite Apostle, Paul, could not fill; it was made for me, and I shall have it! It‟s been reserved a long time just for me and I am ready to fill it. I am tired, baby-girl, I am ready to rest.”
What a joyous thought! Rose knew her portion was secure; that for her, “there remained rest.” It cannot be forfeited, if you are a child of God as Nana was. She knew, you shall not lose it.
Momma says to us, “If you could fly across you would see written upon one of its many mansions. This remains for such a one; preserved for him only. He shall be caught up to dwell forever with God.”
“Poor doubting ones,” Nana Rose would say, “don‟t miss your true inheritance, it is yours.”
If you, too, believe in the Lord Jesus, have repented of your sins, have a renewed heart, and are one of the Lord‟s people as was Rose, there is a place reserved for you, a crown laid up for you, a harp especially provided for you.
No one else shall have your portion, it is reserved in heaven for you, for there shall be no vacant thrones in glory when all the chosen are gathered in.
Sit down servant, Momma, Nana, Rose and rest in eternal worship of our Savior. You were our Royal Rosa!
I love you, Nana.
